Shrub Goddess Dressing

Shrub Goddess Dressing is creamy, dreamy, and nutritious. That’s because we use shiso in this shrub, which is packed with antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. And you get additional digestive health benefits because, in addition to raw apple cider vinegar, miso is also good for your gut. This dressing blends Pacific Northwestern and Japanese flavors for an umami-rich sauce that can be a dip for your favorite veggies (we like fresh, organic peppers from our local farm!) or poured over a hearty autumnal salad with kale, roasted squash, toasted nuts or seeds, and maybe a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds if you’re feeling fancy.


  • 1/4 cup miso

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 1/2 cup shrub (we use Shiso and Citrus Shrub here)

  • Mustard and lemon juice to taste

  • 2-3 cloves garlic

  • 2 tbsp. tamari

  • 1/8 cup yogurt


Blend all ingredients until smooth.
